The kit includes a 4 x 8 ft ProFlex? dryer transition duct a plastic connector piece as well as an optional plastic extension piece for those dryers with recessed exhaust ports. The connector and extension piece is made of polypropylene containing Fire-retardant additive which meets UL94 VO standards for flame resistance. Once attached, it helps the duct from being crushed and improves the air flow from the back of the dryer. The connector piece is also friction fit to the dryer for an easy connection that does not require clamps or duct tape for attachment and can be easily removed for cleaning. The ProFlex? dryer transition duct in this kit is UL2158A listed and marked for safe dryer venting.

This all inclusive all metal dryer hook-up kit is truly the ultimate installation kit for both the contractor and consumer. This kit includes a 4 x 8 ft UL 2158A listed and marked semi-rigid aluminum duct, two attached all metal heavy-duty elbows and two 4 in metal galvanized worm gear clamps. The semi-rigid duct is UL 2158A labeled and approved for safe dryer venting. It is thicker than our standard non UL duct and like all aluminum ducts is totally non-combustible. New manufacturing technologies incorporated into this duct also allow for easy rotation, adding durability during installation. The two metal elbows are flame-resistant for a safe and longer-lasting connection and are designed to achieve tight 0 to 90 deg turns.

Semi-rigid aluminum duct is ideal for applications where building codes require use of all aluminum duct. The duct is totally non-combustible with a maximum operating temperature of 400 deg F.
